Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions are planning on releasing an 11 track album, Through the Devil Softly, on September 15th. This is wonderful news if you are/were a Mazzy Star fan. Who can forget the amazing hit, Fade Into You? Sandoval's voice was so powerful and dark in that song. Apparently, this album is supposed to go back to the laid-back, soothing, psychedelic sound that Sandoval is known. A North American tour is being planned for this Fall and UK/Europe dates to follow.
As of now, I only have a single off of the album to share. This song has a slow acoustical sound, with an electric wave intertwining between a piano and Sandoval's voice. I hope that you enjoy!
